Invest in a Kill
A Suspense Thriller by Gary Amato
GPS is a satellite-based navigation system made up of a network of 24 satellites placed into orbit by the U.S. Department of Defense.
GPS works anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, and was originally intended for military applications, but in the 1980s, the government made the system available for civilian use.
Today’s technology experts state handheld devices that have global positioning system assembled into our cell phones, pocket PC's, game boards, ipods, and most all new vehicles, are here to make our lives easier. But to the unexpected few, it will make their lives a living hell like two college students, Courtney and Aliciya, converse with a secret admirer on Courtney's pocket PC.
At first it's flattering. Then the messages take on a disturbing tone. The two brush it off as a sick prank, until their professor turns up dead. Because they're afraid of flying and with navigational help from the GPS in Courtney's pocket PC, the two drive home during spring break. While traveling, strange things begin to happen to the girls and is a trail of dead bodies.
A psychopathic computer genius tracks their every move and manipulates their credit cards, hotel reservations, and even their final destination.
WARNING Be careful, because you never know who might be tracking your cell phone or pocket PC!

"As
a board member of the Northern California

opportunity to review numerous film scripts
by its members. I found Gary Amato to be a
professional who excels in all the aspects
of creating a viable film script. So much so
that I asked him to adapt a novel of mine to
a screenplay. I was not disappointed in the
high quality and craftsmanship of his work
and would recommend him highly as a
